Weekend Recap

Ever heard of Dinwiddie, Virgina? Well, we hadn't either, until this weekend that is.  My husband and his friend were a groomsmen in a wedding there so we packed our bags and made the drive on Friday. It was my husband's roommate, fraternity brother and our friend who tied the knot. The drive was long, but it was worth it to spend time with friends that we haven't seen in a while. 

The wedding took place at Glenward Gates Botanical Gardens. There was a beautiful home on the property in a colonial setting with lush gardens, fountains and pretty courtyards.

We had a great time catching up with old friends, laughing, and telling stories about our past college days. I don't believe we made it to bed before 3 a.m. either of the nights we were there. Needless to say I'm exhausted, which is why I kept this post short and sweet.
