The Beaufort Water Festival, a highly anticipated social gathering in July, which takes place on the infamous sandbar in the middle of the Beaufort River. I’ve been going to the festival for years now and it’s something I always look forward to. There is much more to the festival than just a day on the water with friends, although that’s my favorite part. The festival is a two week long celebration of the Coastal Lowcountry and consists of everything from concerts and parades, to raft races and arts and crafts.
This past weekend we joined hundreds of others out on the sandbar for a day of fun in the sun. Here are a few scenes from the weekend.
Until next year!
