Holiday Mantles

I really enjoy having a fireplace in our home. There's something so comforting about curling up on the couch on a cool winter evening, with a soft blanket, a glass of wine and a warm fire crackling in the fireplace. The second best part of having a fireplace, is decorating the mantle. I was determined to do something different this year. In the past, I've used decorations that were passed down to me from my mom, that were used growing up. This year it was time for a change. I decided to do something simple using neutral colors.

I can't wait to use the fireplace for the first time this year!

My search for the perfectly decorated mantle piece, of course began on Pinterest. If you're still looking for some ideas, below are a few beautiful photos for inspiration.

How beautiful is this mantle posted on The Lily Pad Cottage?!

I love the lighting on this mantle from All Things Beautiful.

Great use of natural decor from The Everyday Home.

Pretty pops of green found on Simplified Bee

Last but not least, the mantle from The TomKat Studio that I got my inspiration from.
