2015 was a year filled with great memories. Here is a look back on some of the highlights.Warning, this is a long post, so grab a cup of coffee.
In January...

I had the pleasure of attending a cooking demo with Chef Ryan Prewitt, of Peche Seafood Grill.
In March...

My mom came to visit one weekend and helped me make my yard look beautiful by planting tons of flowers.
I attended the Southern C Summit for the first time. It was such a motivating event full of inspiring and talented women.
In May...
I hosted my very first baby shower for one of my best friends.
We took advantage of the warm weather and spent some time on the water.
Whit and I went to the Iration concert. What better way to celebrate summer than with a little reggae music?!
We celebrated my mom's birthday at Dockside Restaurant on St. Helena Island. The wind was not cooperating with us for this photo.
I had the pleasure of attending another chef demo with Anupy Singla...
And had some delicious Indian cuisine.
Memorial Day was spent on the boat with friends, followed by a cookout.
The holiday weekend continued with a day well spent at the beach, which lead to ladies night downtown.
Whit and I traveled to Virginia to celebrate the marriage of our friends.
In June...
My childhood best friend had her annual slip and slide birthday party. We had such a great time, per usual. It's the one day we can act like we did as kids, except with adult beverages.
Whit and I spent several late afternoons enjoying a little happy hour at home on our back deck.
We also enjoyed one of the best dates ever. We spent the whole day together and rode bikes on Kiawah Island, had lunch by the water and a nice dinner that evening.
I planned a successful conference for work.
In July...
We celebrated the 4th of July weekend at the beach and with a family BBQ.
We remembered and celebrated the lives of the Charleston nine at the Community united dinner.
I attended a fun event hosted by the Charleston Blog Society.
We ended the month going to one of the most highly anticipated festivals...the Beaufort Water Festival!

We celebrated the marriage of two of our good friends.
My friend Megan and I took a trip to NYC to visit our friend Melissa, and to meet her sweet little baby boy, Tristan! He was born in June, which made it hard to wait so long to finally meet him. He's the sweetest!
We had such a great time together!
Whit and I finally visited the Angel Oak Tree for the first time. It is massive!
In September...
I planned the second work conference of the year, and this one was in Hilton Head.
We had so much fun enjoying the Charleston Wine + Food Festival Boozy Brunch!
Sadly, my mom had to inform me that my cat Gracie, who lived back home with them passed away. I really miss that chunky fur ball.
We had a blast celebrating Oktoberfest!
In October...
We survived the "1,000 year flood." It was such a scary time, and we are so thankful there was no major damage to our home and that we were all okay.
And the most exciting part of the month was our trip to Thailand!!! Yes, I've promised a blog post and yes it's currently in progress. The recap of our trip is taking longer than anticipated.
We celebrated our two year wedding anniversary while we were away as well.
We came back from our trip just in time to head to Simpsonville to celebrate the wedding of one of my college girlfriends.
In November...
Thanksgiving was spent with my in-laws.
Then the family all went to the Carolina/Clemson Game.
