Weekend Recap//Thanksgiving Travel + Cyber Monday Deals

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I've officially gotten my fair share of turkey, macaroni & cheese, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, pecan pie..the list goes on!   It's back to the gym for me this week.

Whit and I had such a great time visiting with family and friends this weekend. A lot of time was spent on the road, but it was all well worth it.

Our travel began Wednesday evening when we headed out to meet my parents at an oyster roast. It was one of the biggest I've ever been to.

Oysters for days....

Early Thursday morning we hit the road to Florence, SC to celebrate Thanksgiving with Whit's side of the family. It was so nice to spend time with everyone.

Lot's of over stuffing of the face happened. Which by the way, my contribution to the meal was a delicious dessert that I will be sharing the recipe for this week....stay tuned.

J-Crew sweater, Top Shop jeans, Nordstrom boots

We slipped out of the house and did some minor shopping on Black Friday.

I purchased a sweater at a little boutique called Pieces.  I bought a few things from there last year, so I knew I had to make a stop again. It is the cutest little boutique filled with a mixture of things for the home and your closet. If you are ever in the Florence area, be sure to check it out.

After a little shopping, we were on the road again to Greenville, SC to stay with friends for the Clemson/Carolina game.

Our Saturday morning started at 5:45am!  We had quite the tailgate spread with everything from mimosas and chicken minis to BBQ and beer.  Although it was freezing, it turned out to be a beautiful day for the game.

So I was the only one in our group that wasn't a Clemson fan. I honestly think I have more orange in my closet than garnet, however I managed to pull this outfit together...thank goodness for black.

Whit's family always has a large gathering at their tailgate. This is his grandfather doing what he does best....serving his famous BBQ sandwiches and slaw.

As I'm writing this post, I'm realizing that I don't have many pictures to share. Maybe it's because we were too busy doing this....

Such a fun weekend!

There are just a few hours left to get your cyber Monday shop on! I can't leave you hanging without sharing some of the great deals going on.
