No Bake Cookies & Cream Bars

Last week I shared some delicious cookie recipes in my Holiday Cookie Roundup post and since then sweet treats have been on the brain. So, last night I decided to do a little holiday treat test run to get warmed up for the baking spree I will on in the next two weeks.

The great thing about this recipe....no baking required!  This is literally one of the easiest dessert recipes I've ever made and it takes no time. Warning...they are dangerously good!

Soften marshmallows and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Meanwhile, add Oreos into a food processor and pulse. Pour all ingredients in one bowl and mix.

Once mixed well, pour into a tin foil lined baking dish.

Let sit for 15 minutes then slice into bars and serve.

I told you this one was easy. Enjoy!

No Bake Cookies Cookies & Cream Bars
Ingredients
1 14oz package of Oreos
4 cups of large marshmallows
4 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
1.       Pour the entire package of Oreos into a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
2.       In a large microwave safe bowl add 4 cups of marshmallows, & microwave on low until soft and gooey.
3.       Meanwhile, in a microwave safe bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of butter.
4.       Note: I find it easier to melt the marshmallows & butter separately given the butter requires a little more heat,
However you can also warm the two together as well.
5.       Pour melted butter in with the marshmallows and crushed Oreos, stirring until well mixed.
6.       Line a small baking dish with tin foil and pour in the mixture.
7.       Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes. I put mine in the refrigerator to help shape a little better
8.       Cut into squares and serve.
